B.C. couldn’t have the Midnight Skulker do a night delivery?
In the Ancient Middle East kings had a way of making and keeping ice and it’s too bad our friends here hadn’t figured out how just yet. Maybe the price of martinis made them start thinking in that direction…
I guess this is why there was never a “Rat Pack” until some 65 million years later? Something are worth waiting …for Or would that be the other way around?
Reminds me of an episode of DAVE ALLEN AT LARGE, where the slow-moving elderly servant fetched a block of ice…. which melted en route to a single cube for the Mawster’s Beverage. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0XIncbNbIP0
There will always be some people who will try to get away with stuff if they can. Which is why things get locked up and aspirin bottles have seals on them. We spend a lot protecting ourselves from what is probably a very small percentage of mean jerks (not referring to any group of people here).
@Alain: If those that Nab is accusing of such deeds have done so, then, indeed, they are worthy of scorn. The problem lies in accusing others, simply because they think differently. I have known “environmentalists, wiccans, and satanists” that are a whole lot more Christian than those that read the bible and attend church weekly. Also, these are the groups that are trying to save out natural spaces. The ones that mess up the natural spaces are those that otherwise don’t care about said spaces, regardless of religion or politics.

I was always excited when Dad took us to the ice house with visions of hand cranked ice cream. Somehow we always stopped for a keg.
