    I’d run too. News just reported today in OZ of a Golden Orb spider the size of your hand snared and devoured a 2 foot long brown snake. http://news.ninemsn.com.au/glanceview/225721/spiders-snack-on-birds-snakes.glance

    Spiders give me the heebie jeebies. Once, in my early 20s, I had showered, dressed to kill, and was on my way out the door for date night. Walked right through a huge spider web. Ran back inside (clawing at myself) and jumped right back into the tub and turned on the shower full blast. I didn’t even take off my shoes!
