Him or his bones? Fossil fuel!!

There used to be a natural gas ad around here that went, “Oil is a dinosaur…”

Hmm, maybe I’m missing something. Did the process of converting plants & amimals into oil Stop when all the dinosaurs died? If that is where oil really comes from… wouldn’t it be an ongoing process? There were after all plants & animals after the dinosaurs, yes there was a mass extintsion, however, there has been millions of years since then. No oil has been created since then? This sounds a little suspect to me.

OK, folks, a little science. It was oceanic zooplankton and algae that made oil and gas. It was trees/ferns that made coal during the Pennsylvanian age. Dinosaurs made dinosaur fossils, during the Mesozoic, over a hundred million years later.

Sometimes I think the new writers are just messing with our heads when it comes to figuring out if this strip is in the past or post-apocalyptic future (Peter visits a “new world” and floats past 20th century trash like styrofoam).

The earth makes its own oil – that’s why we can create synthetic oil with what we have on hand….

Look towards the sun solar powered vehicles and mabe wind powered generators when car is in motion

If dinosaurs are a product of the fuel we use today, will we be the product of fuel for future generations?

This takes place way before even the original Bluetooth that the technology is named after!

The earth is only 2000 years old?? Christ was born and died 2000 years ago and we have record of thousands of years of both bibical and secular history before him.
