The thing is, some birds are predators, others are prey, birds like hawks & eagles are predatory and have the eyes in the front, non-predatory birds have wide-spaced eyes so they can keep a lookout for the predators; it is the same with four-legged animals, for instance, the wolf has the eyes at the front of it’s head, but it’s prey (like the rabbit), have eyes on the sides.
