I could never understand how our pets could snooze in direct sunlight.In Edmonton, the longest daylight is just over 17 hours, not including twilight.

Pets have hair on their eyelids, so I assume it blocks the sunlight.

If we do that to our cats, they crawl into the curtains and still enjoy the sun
