Except that Napoleon was not short. The idea that he was short comes from the fact that his measurements at death (5’ 2") was shown in French feet. In English feet, 5’ 6 1’2" – a respectable height for his time. Google it. You’ll see.Unfortunately, humans often value a good story over fact.
