    As long as Liv understands, they are speaking the same language and no one is showing off. It’s like speaking Chinese to someone else who knows Chinese – they’re all on the same level.

    Reminds me of a documentary I saw ages ago ahead of the premiere of Paul McCartney’s Liverpool Oratorio. There was a scene where all these trained professional singers were gathered for a rehearsal; and I’m sure every one of them were jealous of Macca’s money, especially when he admitted to the chorus, “I can’t tell you what’s a hemidemisemiquaver or whatever; all I can tell you is, ‘that bit there’.”
