It’s not Obamaeconomy, it’s good business sence. Why pay for a lot of air in a package like pototoe chips,. that’s all marketing. bigger boxes and bags and you think you are getting more for your money when in reality, You are paying for the larger package and not the product within. So it makes good business sence for a company to shrink the package and save on the packaging so the business can make more money for less cost. Besides, If you like the product it does not matter what kind of box or bag it is in. You will still buy it.
You’re right. How long has it been since most coffee came in 1 lb cans or bags?
We are simply going through another round of package shrinkage. This most noticeable to me this time is ice cream, but frozen veggies, flour and sugar sizes are smaller now too.
Time to recalculate all the recipes than say “… use 1 can of…”
Part of the problem is also the rising cost of food, and the drought in the midwest is only going to make it worse. (And yes, even after all this snow there is still a drought. I’ve been watching the drought map)

Ben’s correct. The Obamaeconomy has all the packages smaller while raising all the prices.
