Back in the dark ages, when I had young’uns and a dog, I would give the kid (s) a milk bone to cut teeth on. No where as messy as crackers or rusk, and when they fell on the floor, the dog cleaned (temporarily) the mess, as I had 3 little ones at the same time.

How it’s supposed to work is, the stuff your husband won’t eat you feed to the dog.

Dogs eat meat, but that’s not all they’ll eat if allowed to make their own choices.
