10-15 years ago, I went to an allergist for a problem totally unrelated to pollen (something itchy in my skin). He stuck me with every fork in his box and I reacted to none of them. Nevertheless, whenever I do yardwork, whether I’m using a riding mower, a self-propelled walk-behind, or a weed whacker, invariably my nose starts running. Happens to me in other environments that don’t involve grass or growing things. Something about exertion makes my nose run. I think I’m allergic to work, too.
