I have an album like that. We used it for my FIL’s funeral, and it was VERY comforting for the attendees (this was many years ago). He loved birds and being out in nature, so it reminding everyone of him without the sadness of his passing. :)
I tried doing that yesterday when all the snow was coming down. Did not work for me. We already had plenty of snow on the ground and added another 17 inches. When it finally stopped, I had help from the neighbors and my son and his girlfriend to clean it all up. My snowblower had broken the week before and the cost to repair it was way too much. Can’t find a new one at a store. Maybe I can get one online. Wish me luck!
I had a CD full of the sounds of birds, waves, rain, rainforest, etc. Must have been created by a jerk because 10 minutes into each one, just as you were starting to relax, there’d be a loud squawking, seals barking, clap of thunder, etc. I made a copy of the first 10 minutes, repeated it several times, and made the CD player loop it continuallly.

I seem to remember this as the start of a Bugs Bunny or Daffy Duck cartoon…

If you go into a record store (they’re still a thing, right?), you would be directed to the New Age section.

I prefer to play JUST the birdsongs in my store. that way you can’t tell when it repeats because no one that I know speaks “bird”!

That’s kind of similar to some of the non-combat exploration moments in the game “Skyrim”…

I had one of those with wolves howling. It was beautiful.
