Watching the birds was fun for me. I put up a nice feeder. Unfortunately, the messy pigeons showed up too. Pooped on the cars on the block, so I had to take it down. Bummer.

    I’m with you, Liv! :-))

Yesterday, a half dozen turkeys were right outside my dining room window and the week before, a herd of deer.

SO much better than tv :-))

In or around the little pond out in back of my place, I have seen a herd of deer, ducks, raccoons, geese, a hawk, an otter, a stork, a swan, a crane, a flamingo (I think I remember seeing that), and just the other day, a big turtle.

Had a huge Pileated Woodpecker on my suet cake this morning. Much better than watching the Today Show.

My granny loved birds. She had one of those hummingbird feeders that stuck to the window :) I wish she’d been alive long enough to see photos of my Australian backyard… galahs galore!

Today one of my greedier crows had two raw peanuts in it’s beak and tried to get a third in there too. Didn’t succeed and when it flew off the squirrel took it and ran!
