Given that New Year’s Eve is a great night to stay off the roads, we haven’t seen the ball drop in years.
When my boys were that age, at midnight we went out on the front porch and banged pots and pans. I did hear a few fireworks in the distance too, but I think we were disturbing the peace. Sorry! Happy New Year, everyone!
