We started out years ago, during a heat wave, moving our bed to the basement … it was cooler. The next year we got a window air conditioner … put it in the kitchen and had two portable fans blowing the cool, dry air down the hall to the bedroom. Two years afterwards we installed a whole-house system, using our heating system ductwork. Every second year a technician takes a look at the machine and we are very comfortable all Summer.

I have three ac’s going but I might be able to turn them off for the rest of the morning. Currently 75F and supposed to drop to 68.

And running all those fans isn’t expensive?

It is 95 and feels like 105. No amount of fan works against that kind of heat.

Get a tower fan. The best. I don’t need ac.
