HJKL:It is out of respect for the women your with in general. Also, when you come inside any building you are surposed to remove your hat. I was taught that when I was a little boy. My worst pet-pieve is when a man brings his family into a restaurant and sets down with his wife and children an keeps his hat on. No respect for his wife at all. But, I guess times are a changing. It seems that the woman does not reconize when she is being disrespected. Sorry world we live in today. Any man worth his salt will remove his hat when entering a building. Just my two (2) cents worth.
