I took a look at the Betty comic Vancouver Sunāitās āThe Waffle Houseā on both sides of the border. And thereās at least one locally owned, independent restaurant named āThe Waffle Houseā in the Toronto area.

I used to enjoy WH until I looked into the politics of the owners. Now, I just drive past.

I never enjoyed Waffle House. They use fake butter and fake maple syrup. Gross.
