“Ice box” – haven’t heard that term in a long time! My grandfather used to be in the ice business…he cut blocks of ice from the Hudson River, stored them in barns (while covering them with burlap), and then delivered ice to people in town throughout the year. Once refrigerators took over, he moved from ice delivery to paving/black topping. I have great memories as a kid hanging out in the barn in the summer and sitting on those burlap-draped ice blocks to stay cool. Instant air conditioning! (Had none in grandma’s house).
My Dad told us that there was a little man called Yehudi who turned the light on and off when the door to the refrigerator was opened or closed. We never were able to catch him.

I remember my mom doing that once. The result was disgusting! I can still remember how awful it tasted.

Make the pizza a base, the chicken as extra topping and fried burrito as side! Voilà!
