I don’t see the attraction to these phones but it seems the future adults will be nearsighted and not too bright or creative. Someone else for good or ill will be running things and no one will notice. Ba-a-a-a-a, look at all the sheep.
..the giant steam locomotive Big Boy rolled into town yesterday on its tour of the West. Hundreds of people with their phones held in the air videoing, looking at their tiny screens, instead of looking at and experiencing this might steaming beast with their own eyes..
I remember one time my brother and his wife came to visit. They spent the whole time on their phones. Now that I think of it maybe I should’ve called him!
Childhood is wasted in this generation! Take the phones away from kids and send them outside and use their imagination for a change. We were outside every waking day when I was growing up. We’d only go in for lunch or dinner then stay out until the streetlights came on!
The phones have become a curse especially for the younger generation. They apparently need constant assurance during every waking hour that they matter, that all their friends are looking at the same things, that they won’t miss a single text or post or whatever. Everywhere you go they’re staring into their phones like zombies. Walking, driving, sitting down….. SOOOO SAD!

At least they’re quiet.

What’s the chance that even two of them are on the same app?

They text one another rather than actually talk! GASP!

Has no one thought to take the phones away? (As if one could-that would, after all, require parental action).
