Three things I try to do every morning before I get up. Guess what time it is without looking at the clock, remember what day of the week it is and remember what the date is.

Check the newspaper. Oh, that’s no good — it’s yesterday’s!

There are two days, Monday-I’m at work. Saturday-I do the work at home.

Dial ‘O’ on your old phone? Assuming it is still functioning on the line, mounted on the wall in the kitchen.

I know exactly what today is. It is Feb 24th, it is 19 years since Mrs and I married. We can never remember if it is the 24th or the 26th. Last year I sent her an -e-card. I was reminded of that yesterday in my email.

hubby and I are retired. We check our watches to see what day it is since every day is Saturday

My late husband and I were married 52 years ago on the 24th. Hope you have many good adventures together.

Yesterday I was taking a nice walk along the river. There are huge, old cottonwoods that grow on the bank and one had fallen during the night. A group of people were standing around, but no one had heard a sound.(It’s a sad sight, the large hole in the ground and the exposed roots.)
