Big Nate by Lincoln Peirce for January 19, 1991
Transcript:
Dad: This note from your teacher says you've been goofing off in class. Nate: Don't believe her, Dad! After all, there's two sides to every story! What she calls "goofing off" could be a vital form of self-expression for me! Dad, this woman is trying to stifle my creative spirit! She's trying to BREAK me! Dad: She says you were sticking pencils up your nose. Nate: And can you believe she didn't think it was funny?
There’s a time and place for that. It’s called home.
