Big Nate by Lincoln Peirce for February 23, 1991
Transcript:
Nate: Dad, where's my blue sweatshirt? Dad: That old thing? I threw it away. Nate: You WHAT? That was my favorite sweatshirt! Dad: It was a rag, what's what it was! You have plenty of other shirts. That blue one was old, dirty and full of holes. Nate: Those holes were strategically placed.
I wrote a short story about a llama and alpaca and then my mom mistook it for trash and cut it up for her garden. I was really mad.
