Big Nate by Lincoln Peirce for September 06, 1992
Transcript:
Dad: School starts in just a few days, Nate. Nate: Don't remind me. Dad: You'll try to get fewer detentions this year, I trust. Nate: What? Fewer detentions? Dad: That's right. Nate: Dad, I can't do that! Getting detentions is part of my identity! It's part of my image! It's what sets me apart from the other students! Sure I could get fewer detentions and become just another face in the crowd!... ...or I could get more detentions and solidify my reputation! I could become a legend! Dad: My son, the folk hero. Nate: I mean, aren't you always telling me to set goals?
Nice goal Nate. Also, second first in like 5 minutes!!!
