SWOOP! Ah, Spring! you're here! And just in time to save us from this winter clime. At your arrival we rejoiced (although the ground is somewhat moist). When Mother Nature's toes got cold, she put that guy Jack Frost on hold. To coin a phrase, she broke the ice and made our weather mighty nice. Just take a look around the yard. Say, Dad is working awfully hard. What has he found in piles so tall? The leaves he never raked last Fall. And what's that scent that overpowers the trees, the grass, the fragrant flowers? Alas, it's just my big sister Ellen. It's just her cheap perfume I'm smellin'. But why waste time on Ellen's odor when Spring has started up its motor? Let's play some catch! Let's chuck a 'bee! Let's frolic to the nth degree! My household chores I plan to shirk because my eight iron needs some work. To balmy weather we say "more!" It's Springtime so let's holler ... FORE.
I thought DAD was the bad golfer!!!
