Big Nate by Lincoln Peirce for September 26, 1998
Transcript:
NATE: You know, it's probably a good thing that Angie won the elextion. She was the better candidate. In retrospect, I didn't want to be President for the right reasons. I only wanted power and glory. FRANCIS: Wow. Nate, every so often you surprise me by saying something truly wise. NATE: Wiseness is my middle name! FRANCIS: It's kind of like that "monkey with a typewriter" thing.
Wow, that’s actually really impressive for someone like Nate, who has a narcissistic complex. He’s acknowledging his flaws and admitting someone is better than him. Rock on Nate, don’t let Francis get ya down!
