Big Nate by Lincoln Peirce for September 15, 2002
Transcript:
DAD: Let's toss around the pigskin, Nate! NATE: Groann.. DAD: Oh, come on! It'll be fun! I'll be the quarterback, you go out for the pass! NATE: Okay, here's my pattern: I'll run to the pine tree, then slant back to the driveway. Then I'll cut back to the fence across the street to the storm drain, and down to the end of the block. From there, I'll head over to Benson Street, take the shortcut through the park, and end up at Teddy's house. I'll zig across his living room, zag onto his couch, and hang out there for a couple hours. Ready...HIKE! Teddy: Luckily, my dad's not at all athletic. NATE: Neither is min. That's why I'm here.
