Nate says, "I'm supposed to write my report in my own words, right?" Nate says, "Well, how am I supposed to come up with my own words about Woodrow Wilson? I've barely heard of the guy!" Mrs. Godfrey says, "Figure it out." Nate says, "I just thought of some words, but they're not my own."
Only a horrible teacher would say “figure it out” when a student is clearly struggling.
