To sparkbell and others: I can understand your skepticism, but yes I am Lincoln Peirce and I’ve been doing this strip for over twenty years. So that I’ll be able to respond to your comments (and submit my own) without my identity being questioned from now on, I’ll give you some inside information: Tomorrow’s strip (the Sunday page) is a baseball joke. In the first panel, Coach tells Nate, “You’re on deck, Nate! Grab a bat!” Nate responds, “Right, Coach!” Of course I don’t want to explain the entire strip and give away the gag, but I can tell you that Francis also appears in the strip on Sunday. Hope you enjoy it.
Thanks to all of you for reading and supporting Big Nate!
