I can clear this up. “Add More Babes,” the first-ever Big Nate collection, was published in 1992 and contains selected strips from the first year of the strip. Then, during the next 16 or 17 years, there were only a couple of e-books (this was in the early days of e-books) that weren’t successful at all. Then in 2008 came “I Smell A Pop Quiz”, followed a couple years later by the recent chapter books and compilations.
