Comments yesterday on “flash forward” made me think of one of my daughter’s favorite bands – All Star Weekend has a number called “Journey to the End of My Life” (YT vid at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d530XivJTRI)Love the lines in the chorus: “Am I loved? Am I hated? In your face, or understated? How old will I be when I die, Do I turn out all right?”Nate, I’m sure would have VERY interesting answers to those questions – he has a unique perspective on himself.

Awesome Francis took his glasses off but didn’t open his eyes. I have seen Francis without putting his glasses once on in one of your Sunday strips which invloved the diving board when Marty messed up diving! So far Gina never takes her off but when the time comes I will be waitng.

I can clear this up. “Add More Babes,” the first-ever Big Nate collection, was published in 1992 and contains selected strips from the first year of the strip. Then, during the next 16 or 17 years, there were only a couple of e-books (this was in the early days of e-books) that weren’t successful at all. Then in 2008 came “I Smell A Pop Quiz”, followed a couple years later by the recent chapter books and compilations.
