Even if a reader suggests a really great idea, it’s impossible to include that idea in tomorrow’s strip. I drew today’s strip three months ago. And besides, I’m too much of a control freak to use other people’s ideas in my strip! But I do very much enjoy reading the people’s predictions of what they think will happen. Oftentimes people are very accurate, which shows they must understand Nate’s personality pretty well!

Actually, pop quizzes can be a more accurate measure of how much a student retains over a period of time. Our class valicdictorian was one who crammed for every test, however; her ACT (an exam that one can not prepare for completely by studying) score was one of the lowest in my school.

No pop field trips because the school board will require a liability assessment, the principle will require a budget, pedagogical justification, and need to approve the spending, and parents will have to fill out 3 pages of forms (for a day trip, 5 for out of town or overnight). I taught high school, I know from experience.

And here’s my prediction:Nate starts to talk about Mrs.Godfrey, and Mr.Rosa starts to explains the same old thing:‘’Nate,I won’t discuss Mrs. Godfrey!’’And after tommorow: Nate saying something rude about Mrs. Godfrey to Francis, and Nate getting trouble for it!
