I still include Nate’s comics like “Doctor Cesspool,” “Moe Mentum,” etc. in the Big Nate chapter books. But I stopped putting them in the comic strip a number of years ago, mostly because I got a lot of feedback from people that they were difficult to read. Newspapers shrink comics to such a small size nowadays, the “lined paper” look of those strips could make them almost illegible.

It really could! Nate’s comics ALWAYS crack me up, and I think everyone could say the same. Me and my friends really miss “Moe Mentum” and The Biff and Chip news.
