@ afficionadoItâs interesting how things donât change.
Back in the Middle Ages, when most people were illiterate, grammar (from Latin grammatica, in turn from Greek ÎłÏαΌΌαÏÎčÎșÎź) was a mysterious thing. In deed Middle English âgramaryeâ or Old French âgramaireâ became liked with magic and what âclerkes finden writen in her booksâ could just as easily be an evil spell as a religious text.
Even today people will look at, say, a spelling divergent from their norm and call it a mistake in grammar. If itâs spelling, itâs orthography.
Oh, and by the way âIliadâ is the normal spelling

Lol @richardelguru goes into great but immense detail, then says that he (pierce) spelt it right, after a history when one of us could have said it right away, but he made the word much more interesting.

Hey guys! Remember that comic strip from 2007 where Nate is at a yard cell and the find a picture of a dog playing poker, and he believes there is something is behind it. The picture is now on ebay! Let us see if Nate was right about something being there!

Some characters are in the chapter books but not the strip, and vice versa. Nick Blonsky was a character in BIG NATE FLIPS OUT, but has never been in the strip. Dee Dee Holloway has become a major character in the chapter books but has not appeared in the strip yet. Randy Betancourt was created specifically for the books but has also appeared in the strip. Peter is in the strip but not the books. Vern and Marge, Nateâs grandparents, are in the strip but not the books. Etc. etc.
