Morning All! I am doing okay. Today, the chemo pump comes off :) Yesterday, I was wiped out! I got a really, really good deal on a two piece sectional couch. So my oldest daughter wanted to put the old couch in her room. She mesasured and decided it would fit. Well, we forgot to measure getting it through the narrow hall and a narrower turn into her bedroom. My hair was full of popcorn from the ceiling and my arms still feel like spaghetti. No way that old couch is getting into her room unless we knock down a wall, and that’s just not going to happen. Akenta, Thanks for the happy thoughts, just keeping sending them. I need them today and forever. ;)

Carmy wish we could all come & helped. Well, except for that pirate… I hear he’s a one man wrecking crew! Wish I could offer more than these donuts but hey, I’m on the road still!

Joy talk about telling a joke & getting no response! Maybe the microphone wasn’t on? Any more cannonballs in the yard today?

Good to hear you’re feeling a bit better today Carmy. Thanks for the bagel Marg. One of these mornings I’ll make you guys my “swivel chairs” eggs. They’re kind of a simplified version of ‘huevos rancheros’ (eggs scrambled with salsa and cheese mixed in), but my kids when they were little thought I was saying ‘swivel chairs’

hi to all today. hope you all are haveing a wonderful day. im a little hyper today, even thought my legs are killing me and i can barely move them….. (tell you later if you want, nothing bad.) Joy you have to keep the pic of you up all day, this way i can see it. i dont get on till later and im not sure what time ill be on friday, not sure how it will work out. or just put one up and leave it up. mine is still up. hey i may have a new one come sat night, or sunday evening. Prom is sat. Lord help me.

Dry, I saw Dinette Set. Sheesh, those people are cheap. I gave the trash guys cold bottled water this morning. I’ve been doing that for some time. Dry try opening it in paint. that is how i got mine up. i opened it in paint resized it and did some moving around cutting croping and all of that. then saved it. i did this several times. then i got it the right way and then wala. it was up. good luck. ask marg if that did not help, she is the one who taught me how to do mine. :D

Joy you dont have to keep it up unless you want to. but it is good to put a face to your comments. and sweet words. you look great. (not in an odd way. i go to school with people who would take it the wrong way)

Dry go to the picture and right click your mouse. Select “Save as” and save it to your desktop. The go to edit avatar, select browse, scroll to desktop & select saved picture. Then click open at the bottom right of the dialog box. Then click “save changes”!

Well THAT WAS A ROUSING SUCCESS!! ROFL, HYSTERICAlly, I might add! Gonna leave that up for a few minutes for hoots and giggles! Too bad Joy won’t get to see this!

Dry have you been in South America lately? Maybe it’s the work of the Jivaros…head shrinkers!! Did you crop the picture? Maybe too much? I would right click the mouse over the picture and click on properties to see what options you have. I can’t look because my notebook is STILL in the shop & I’m STILL on the road!

Dry: I looked at the properties. The picture is only 35 x 50 pixels. You should be able to open it in paint and make it bigger.

the avatar I use is 96 x 96 I think

Dry: I just opened it in Paint, and it’s so small I could hardly see it. Do you have a standard photo you can use?

My avatar looks like me when I was younger.

marg the picture I used was a standard pic taken at my son’s college graduation from Cornell.

Dry, I usually have trouble changing my avatar, but this time I did what JFri suggested. I went to my Kodak gallery and put my photo on the desktop. Went to my profile and selected my photo from the desktop. I didn’t have to crop.

Dry good luck with the pic. i have trouble all the time. do you have picasa? i used to (before they erased my comp) you can get it for free. just google Picasa3. it is great. for pics.

Margthat is a pic of me in my prom dress from last year. i will see what i can do sunday when i get the pics on here. the dance is sat so wish me luck i dont break or burse anything before then, so i can walk in those high high heals.

Thanks Marg, My oldest girl took that photo of me for my mom. My mom is very active in the “Relay for Life” cancer fundraisers. She was dedicating her “booth” to me and wanted a photo to put on her promotion letters. She sends me a new t-shirt every year with “Survivor” written on it. She also makes one of those lantern things and sends it to me after also.

Carmy that last post made me want to cry. that is so sweet. im glad that ive gotten to know you. you are a sweet lady. keep on fighting that fight. God is on your side. we fast and pray every thursday (tomorrow) at church to fight off cancer. you will be in my prayers for sure. God bless. Rememeber he never gives you more then you can handle.
