Not a bad luck day for me, cousin Tink, or any our other cousins. I was both on the 13th (not Friday, though) therefore, we’re immune to it, Also it’s my favorite number. Cousin Tink was both on 13th as well as some of my other cousins.

Our ski area opens today. Mt. Baker holds all of the world records for snowfall, most in a day, most in a season, etc. This is an early opening and the already have a base of 68”.

i have two socks on each foot and i can still feel the coldness of my feet through the socks. i cant get my feet warm!!! once they get cold im done bc i get cold all over. grrr. its in the 40s and low 50’s today

haha dont laugh but i have some amazing slippers now. you heat them in the microwave for about 2 mins and slide them on your feet theres beads in them and they warm up and oh so warm better already.

@Tabby, I knew one prof who, if he assigned a 4-6 page paper, and you handed in 6 1/2 pages, would write at the bottom of page 6: “Nice paper, but it ends rather abruptly.”

Learning to limit your text, or to edit it to what is needed, is a valuable skill. And it begins with choosing what topic to write on: some take lots more time to develop properly. You have to find a thought of “the right size”. But it can be hard to get that thought.

Bmonk i have heard stores of people doing that. LOL sucks big time.

so as of fall 08 there were 16,320 students attending my school…. good reason to make bike pahts dont you think?

we are to write a problem/solution essay for our university so i am going to say something about all the student and how full the walk ways are how unsafe it is to ride on the road with the cars and such. good idea?

my arms are cramping form all this typing. sigh lifting a 40 something pound 3 year old is killing me.

i think im gonna get half of this done then go ride my bike… sounds good to me.

Terry what do you think?

Some of these students, one being myself, are riding bikes others are walking some do both, there again myself. Riding a bike around campus is indeed faster than walking, but which is safer is a better question to ask. The bike riders are forced to take to the roads because of all the people on the walkways. The cars do not care if you are a bike rider or a walker, they do not pay attention very well. When it is dry we are able to ride in the grass some places other places there are tree stumps all over or work being done. When riding one the walk ways you are liable to run over a person, wreck into another rider, or run into something by dodging a person who has jumped out in your way without looking, the black post flip the rider over the bike when hit.

Well it has been a fun week, for sure!

Tabby - You have got to start taking better care of yourself. You are having to many accidents. You can only do so much in a day. The more that you try to cram in the more chance of an accident because you aren’t spending enough of your energy concentrating on the task at hand, consequently each task suffers from lack of your full attention. Having said what I just did, yet not being asked, I will still offer an opinion on what you asked Terry. I ride my bike on the roads everyday. It requires your full attention as their are cars out there and often they do not see you. If it is a busy area, which it sounds like it is, walk. Or, if you ride your bike think about what you are doing and pay atttention. Lesson over. LOL

My wife and I are food junkies. We eat well every night. I want to remain slim, so I eat very carefully for breakfast and lunch, despite our virtual breakfasts. At dinner we eat very well, we generally do not eat foods that are very high fat, but that doesn’t stop us from high fat foods that benefit a particular dish. It is like we are eating in a different country every night; Italy, Mexico, Thailand, the Mediterranean. Yum

My Tuscan cabbage and bean soup has had a day for the flavors to meld, my Italian semolina bread is going to be grilled and then served with rubbed garlic followed by a salad of arugula and hazelnuts. We always finish our dinner with salad, rather than at the beginning. I have a nice bottle of red wine breathing, the candles are ready to be lit. I smell romance in the air. :-)

When I spent my winters in the very southern tip of Texas, I had a friend that could almost always come close to running the table. I used to be a good pool player, back in the early 70’s but have lost 75 percent of my skill, but even if I had it all back I would not have beat him more than 30 percent of the time. As it was I would maybe win one out of every 8 games with this friend in Texas, but it didn’t matter, because I just loved to play pool. So Terry, I would love to play pool with you my friend.
