i’ll have cinnamon frosted mini wheats cereal with milk, whole grain toast with peanut butter and honey, and a cup of nuclear coffee. i’ll need it. i’m guessing i may have had the last word on yesterday, since i was merrily typing away, posted, then refreshed to see how things were and found out it was today. oh well, i’ve been up since 6:45 am after going to bed around 2:15 am so if i seem a little punchy it’s because i’ve been awake for around 35.5 of the last 40 hours.

no Tabby it makes you normal. we can’t know someones trouble if they don’t tell us, and their trouble is rarely our fault. if you gave her the clot, then maybe you could be “the worst friend” but it’s more likely the walking has helped keep the blood clot (or clots) from being worse. i know from personal experience, exercise helps. definitely gone. for sure. no kidding. i mean it.

Yguy thanks. i just wish we would not have stoped walking, the she may be better now.. i just dont know anymore. this lady is my best friend. i cant think of losing her. she is strong she battled cancer and won when the odds were against her they told her she wouldnt make it. she lost her youngest son last year, she is still holding up. so i know she is strong and i know she can take this. i just need to see her and know she is okay. i need her in my life, she has not been in my life long enough yet, to my standards. so all i can do is pray

I am saying goodnight! Tabby, listen to yyyguy. What he says is true. and do what I do when I have a problem on my mind, I say my rosary until I fall asleep. You aren’t Catholic, so just keep saying a prayer you know, and you will fall asleep and feel better, trust me on this!

    Good ‘Fternoon, All!

@Shika: Calvin of Geneva was the first Calvin; he ran the theocracy there. Congrats on acing the Oral. I don’t think Calvin and Hobbes were at your synod; rather many intellectual debates or diplomatic exchanges tend to go that way.

One of my better days Celecca. I worked outside on cars today and the cold did not affect me. Coughing was my biggest effect of the cold damp air. So it appears I am getting better. (crossed fingers & toes) Even though the doctors can’t tell me that!

My mother was better today in regards to my aunt’s passing. So another plus on my list.

That’s okay Celecca I prefer to chill (relax) for now. I misunderstood your post. I have read so much in the past few weeks, I think I am brain dead. then that explains why the professor’s most recent books are still from there.

Terry the college kids were I am are generally older than that. We are almost all one our second career, or third or forth. Ministry nowadays isn’t for young people as much.

Some of us are pretty computer illiterate. And the professors are worse. My Calvin and Luther proff still uses hand-written notes.

It’s been a while since I watched him, so I wasn’t thinking of cigars. Capice?

okay so walking buddy called me earler about 3 and asked me if i wanted to help her, so i ran out over there to help her. she had her leg cut open from her knee to her ankle. and she wanted to go to the store to pick up what she needed. so i went with her and helped her in and out of the truck and walk and opened doors for her and caught her when she tripped and almost fell. scared me big time. even pumped the gas for her. and helped her with the kids and gave her her christmas present early. she is okay and she didnt find out till late last night that she was going to have surgery is why i didnt know. the went off camping her and her husband and the 3 kids. so i just hope all goes well.
