Once again an esteemed member of the TRIBE steps to the plate and produces a batter of fine breakfast.SOJOUNER I’ll try your cheese plate, hold the crackers and a cup of DOC’S transforming brew.

Speaking of baseball, and nobody but me was, I’d like to explain the 86 year rule. No matter how good the Boston team is, God will give us excuses (like disabled players) so we can hold our heads up for almost a century till we win again. Cubbies will understand.

    Good morning, everyone!

After eight terrific days in New Braunfels, TX., I’m ready to return home today. So I’ll have everything. Not a little bit of everything. Everything - even mugs of the Coffee and the CocoMocha, each in their seperate unobtanium containers.

Only one condition: nothing that comes from the pig, is a crustacean, etc. Save those for someone who appreciates them…

Remember the slogan, “Roustabouts! Eat the pudding!” from a few days ago?

For Superwink, that actually makes a fair amount of sense. I may ask him if I can rent it out.

Of course my Boss has a simpler phrase or two: things like “Surrender or die!” or (when he’s really on his CocoMocha) “Let there be Light! Banish the Darkness!”

(P.S.: The Boss invites THE SOJOURNER’s avatar this morning to a sparring match under 100 gravities. Should be fun for both.)

Little Sister sorry to inform you I hope your instructor advises you to keep practicing, I know for a fact though too late for me, 50-60wpm is considered slow for some positions. I’ve witness workers speed typing 90+ to 100 wpm I’m amazed, I ‘ve also commented on this and was informed my position doesn’t require speed typing and I’m typing just fine. Soon to be former boss has complimeted me on my speed and I think yea right not that fast. You can, I’ve done lots of time, on interent google it practice typing to work on your speed.

He explained it several months ago on For Heaven’s Sake about how his son’s friends would come to him for advice on things and somehow he became a spiritual leader for several of them who realized they gave up on religion as an institution not God himself. When the some of these young adults expressed a wish for him to perform their wedding ceremony for them, he went through the process to become an ordained minister. (or something like that) He has performed a few marriage ceremonies for them.

    Bye Everyone

I am off to drive sedately to Vernowhere and back. While I am being slow, for giggles I might even drive safely.

Hi Little Sister Tried to reply to your last post this morning but it wouldn’t take it. After awhile I couldn’t even get on the site. GoComics must of had problems again but don’t think it bothered some. Finally went to sleep.

    PIZZA!!!!!!

The Sacred ‘Za, source of every bit of nutrition required by man or beast.

Now I’m almost glad I’m busting my butt to get my car loaded up for the church yard sale. Most of the stuff isn’t tagged yet, I suspect will be tagging stuff until noon. Gotta be there at 6am…at least the weather is nice.

Luvchaos I think the thing about religion in the comments is there are two types of comments:

    A) ” YOU COME TO MY CHURCH AND BELIEVE WHAT I BELIEVE OR YOU WILL BURN IN HECK!!!” (kinda wish I could do flames to complete the ‘heckfire’ preacher.

    B) “Gotta dash, the choir’s singing today and I’ve got to get to the church on time.”

As you can see, comment ‘A’ is the prohibited in the comments type. Comment ‘B’ is more related to happenings in my life and should be no problem in a comment.

Time to get the room back into a bit of shape. It usually looks like a hurricane hit it, but today it looks like some tornadoes were along for the ride.

But before I leave, I”m helping myself to the Sacred ‘Za’ Thanks!!

You got it right Quaby None of this I’m right and you’re wrong…etc.

Personally, I like a community made up of different people and cultures who care about each other, respect one another’s viewpoints and are interested in learning, communicating and being of service to others when possible.

POP! Hi, tribe! ‘Tis been a busy day for me. Didn’t start out too rough, but with hubby on vacation today (to work around here) I’m always adapting to his requests, or asking him to do a wee project while he’s here and awake. I decided I needed to grocery shopping, but didn’t want to do it tomorrow, when the youngest has his tutoring session. On the way into town, I heard a very loud ”whack!” Turns out that something hit my glass sunroof, and shattered it. Thankfully, I’ve got full coverage - unfortunately, with a $500 deductible. I added in a trip to the body shop to get it estimated and start the ball rolling to get it fixed. At least the body shop we do business with (I’ve known the owner’s wife for over 20 years) is a preferred provider with my insurance company, so it could be more of a hassle. Well, now to eat a piece of apple pie I just baked, and play a game of Scrabble with my son. (I’ll probably lose, knowing him!) POOF!

Actually it’s easy and dosn’t take long. Just go to his profile and start going to the messages he’s posted from the botton up as new ones go to the top. Going back and forth it’s quick to hit all of them.
