We have some sever weather coming. Small town west of us 5 years ago was wiped out by several tornado’s cells in one system. That town is still rebuilding. Reading, KS and Joplin, MO have yet to rebuild.I hope I don’t like so many others here can refresh our comments.

Hi, friends! I could use a Sherpa, but my two sons will just have to do. Grog – A Sherpa is a native hired to haul supplies for mountain climbers – I think for Mt. Everest, but I’d have to google it to be sure.

pseudo yesterday for me refresh list didn’t work. Today refresh works and not know if you can, I can see your post.I don’t want to get stuck at work. We are now in high tornado warnings alerts. Not fair today is last day for DWTS.

Okay I’m now no sure if refresh will work. More comments are coming not sure what is going on.

Kab – Treadmill test this afternoon. I just hope I doesn’t involve running downstairs to get away from a tornado! I won’t know much until the doctors look over the test results and get back to me.

Hey all I just found out from comics.com that they are merging with GC as one huge massive comics with editorial and can comments. There will be a bigger variety of commics to choose from. Though I don’t think Zitts durn it is on. You can go to comics.com to see what they have. This is suppose to take place June 1st.

As someone pointed out—the merger may have a downside. At least now, usually the sites don’t go out together. But come June 1, when the site is wonky, where will you go for a comic fix????

Re: merger. If it’s wonky I guess we’ll have to go to umpteen newpaper sites until we get our fix.

National is stating we gonna get it. I hope not. I don’t want to see flying snakes, cows, dogs, or cats. We have a cat here and somehow senses when something is coming since we have a bi-level will head to a hiding place until storm is over.

Things weren’t good for me this morning, when seemingly everything was working for everyone else. At least things are working now, but my cynical mind wonders for how long?

Somrtimes this site seems to have temporary problems that are different then seeing the comments on BT. That’s what it seems like to me.

Or perhaps the comments wern’t working earlier and they fixed the problem?

Hello all. I was given permission to leave early due to weather problems. Minus 30 mins of pay. Both bosses said I could leave. Already reports of tornado activity 2 hours away around Pratt, KS. We are receiving sever thundard and lighting. I want stick around on Internet all.

Hi, friends! Well, I survived the test and am home. I guess I proved I really do have a fainting problem with exercising, so even though I already knew that, now they have proof. My doctor called the house (when I wasn’t home) so I’m guessing there was something abnormal with the gallbladder sonogram, but that’s about as much guessing as I can do at this point.

Watching the radar, and listening to the weather radio. I hope our internet stays up. At least the tornadoes haven’t shown up too close yet. But OK is having a bad day.

Hi all SRMom there is a line of hail moving east toward us. My son has been talking part of OK being hit by tornado and western KS is also had tornado and other areas like Hutchinson. damaging wind.

Okay, I guess…. I just …. can’t we send a little bitty tornado to Sir Lew? I think he would enjoy it.

Kab – We already have had some small hail after I got home. (probably pea-sized). But I am watching that line of storms on the radar. While we were at the heart place & eating dinner, we were able to watch the Weather Channel on the TV. We had tuned to the Weather Channel at the heart place, but while I was getting tested, the nurse (?) changed the channel to Judge Judy without asking anyone. So, when I was back, and she stepped out of the room, we changed it back to the weather. When she returned, she started to change it back (and I hadn’t seen anything but a commercial yet), so I spoke up and said I was hoping to see what the weather was doing. She grudgingly turned it back. I got thanked quietly by the guy sitting next to me, as he had no interest in Judge Judy. If it hadn’t been a nasty day forecasted, I probably wouldn’t have spoke up. But I did notice most people when they came in, sat & watched the weather too. Something that almost all of us are interested in for today. (Especially because we were on the 4th floor!)

Hello all weather here has calmed down. I am not sorry I left work early. Never know what will happen. SRMom Not sure I would have said anything. I do like Judge Judy I actually met that woman at Town West promoting her book and KAKE was there. There are two more court shows I watch. I have learned a lot. So if anyone goes to jail they are staying put no bail.Big Sister that tornado you talked about would a dust devil work as well not as bad as a week tornado?

Kab – Judge Judy would be a bit better than a soap opera, but since we were expecting bad weather today, I think most of the people in the waiting room wanted to stay informed, rather than entertained.

I don’t think an employee should be paid to sit around and watch TV. Nothing wrong with knowing about severe weather though, and I noticed when it was on, some of the other medical people would take a quick peek. Those of us in the waiting room though, were paying for the “privilege” of waiting there, and it the waiting room was pretty full most of the time.
