There’s no bears at the South Pole.

No, but there’s bowling…. and talking penguins.

That’s the other South Pole?

Maybe #11 is the pin spotter.

Must be the south magnetic pole. And for the record, I am as good at bowling as that bear is.

I see faces on some of the bowling balls. I hope they have workers comp because they’re going to it.

sorry, lonewolf, but I say: Offend the bowler all you want, Mr. Bear. At least you’ve found a way to hire EXTRA help in this lousy economy. I’d take the job in a minutes if it paid enough fish. Besides, who wants to listen to a lone wolf who hangs out with people in a chat room. That in itself is a contradiction.

Besides, I recognize him as the polar bear from “Lost”. Obviously he needed another gig and posing for cartoons pays the bill. Plus there’s the travel from a south seas island to the SP which was a much shorter trip.

The eleventh pinguin is the pinsetter/ball return boy. Anyone remember how that worked before all the automations? That’s my story and I’m sticking to it.

Anybody remember “Chilly Willy” while you’re at it? Didn’t he (a penguin) run into a polar bear once in a while?

This is, apparently, neither the North nor the South Pole. It’s the Cartoon Pole, inhabited by Polar Bears, Penguins, and (off camera), Eskimos in igloos, who travel by dog sled.

Bingo, bmonk! Cartoon Biology, then…

This might be the East Pole, which Pooh wanted Christopher Robin to help him find. Pooh only found it in a dream, and only Wild Woozles were there at the time, but it was a very cold and snowy pole. Perhaps these are some of the other denizens…
