One evening I was helping on a friend’s farm in Nebraska. We went out to find out where the electric fence had become grounded. We were walking through a field of recently cut milo. We had my friends Australian cattle dog, Dingo, with us. It was a full moon and we could see really well. We came across a mouse running between the rows. Dingo got after him. Every time he picked up the mouse, the mouse bit him on the nose and the Dingo would drop him. The frantic mouse having nowhere to go ran up inside my pant leg. Talk about a reaction. The mouse got all the way up to my inner thigh. I started pounding my leg and hopping around trying to shake him out. I didn’t quit till i was sure he was gone. My buddy, was laughing so hard he started coughing and choking. Gotta admit it must have looked really funny. We never found the mouse.
