What language? Burmese has 33 consonants and 8 vowel sounds, Sinhalese has about 50 phonemes, Japanese has 3 different “alphabets”, Spanish has 27, but before the alphabet reform of 2010 it had 29 (ll and ch were dropped, still used but not thought of as combinations and not distinct. ñ is still considered its own letter. The German alphabet is very similar to that of English but it has four letters that English does not have: ä, ö, ü and ß.In English, to make the pronunciation and spelling of a word clear, we say “D as in Delta” but in German they use names and those names are fixed, like “U as in Ulrich.”And don’t get me started on Cyrillic.

In what grade is Skip anyway? How could he have flunked his alphabet when in kindergarten?

Wow, impressive. Wonder how long it took the artist to do this? : )

It was an impressive display, but totally wasted on Skip. For Skip, keep it simple.

Indeed … fun visuals on this alphabet collection. My favorites are the i and the x panels.
