Well, perhaps it’s all for the best. Between the cigarettes, lack of self-control and generally poor judgement, I’d say Seth doesn’t have long to live anyway.
I have to keep family visits to 3 days or the teeth-grinding starts to set in. My relationship with my mother improves geometrically with distance. We get along fine over a transcontinental phone connection.
