Congratulations To Our 2017 Mike Wieringo Comic Book Industry Awards Nominees

This year marks the debut of the Mike Wieringo Comic Book Industry Awards at The Baltimore Comic-Con, and GoComics creators are all over the list of nominees.

Nominated for the "Best Comic Strip or Panel" category are Bloom County by Berkeley Breathed, Dick Tracy by Joe Staton & Mike Curtis, Foxtrot by Bill Amend, and Pearls Before Swine by Stephan Pastis.

Recent GoComics addition Steve Conley was nominated for both "Best Webcomic" and "Best Cartoonist" for his series, The Middle Age.

Celebrating the life and comics career of the late Mike Wieringo, the "Ringos," are an award decided by nominations and votes cast by comics industry professionals. You can read the full list of nominated creators (and vote, provided you're a pro) at the official Ringo Awards site.
