It’s only one man’s opinion, but I sincerely believe that the largest debt of all is owed to Bill Watterson. I spent almost as many hours of my childhood with my nose in a Calvin and Hobbes book as I did with it pressed against a television screen, and believe me, that’s saying something. Alas, why do I even bother to post comments on an old strip. It seems unlikely that anyone will ever see or even bother to read it anyway.
