    I’m not a big fan of California, either, but for the same reason I’m not a big fan of Shanghai: air is not supposed to contain fiber.

    They’re more likely to eat you for dinner in Des Moines than they are in San Francisco. Baked as they are out there, the munchies of choice are more in the way of edamame than bunny mommy, with a side of Rice A Roni.

    ejcapulet, I always knew when my plane was about to land at LAX. the clear blue sky actually sits on top of a layer of brown, and as the plane descends into it, you can see the cutoff point move up outside your window like 2 ribbons.

    WE’RE HEEEEE-EEERE!

    New York being as dirty as it is, surprisingly does not have the layers of smog when you land there, but you end up covered in bits of soot after a day of walking around there, which you don’t get in smoggy LA.
