Everybody wants to blame the video games…just like Fredric Wertham created the Comics Code Authority just because he couldn’t handle Tales From The Crypt.

And as everybody directs blame upon the video games, they only reveal their own lack of parenting skills and inability to relate to their children, and an entire body of works that could and should be studied academically the same way film, art, and literature are is just discarded by the wayside, in many cases irretrievably lost.

At times like this, Bob Dylan starts singing “Who Killed Davy Moore” in the back of my head as I try to analyse the chain of blame…and wonder why poor video games have to suffer because of under-prepared parents.
