   I’d say it was more because of the limited female characters in the original movies. I have wondered, however, if the otaku realise they’re encouraging incest when they cosplay as such.

   An attempt to create better female characters in the expanded universe is why Jan Ors, Bastila Shan, Mission Vao, Juhani, Meetra Surik, Kreia, Rianna Saren, and so many others exist…and still, no one bothers to play their video games.
