Does anybody remember laughter?

My husband & I STILL quote “Pear pimples for hairy fishnuts” all the time. Our daughters know that we’re strange.

Yes! THE classic Bloom County strip!

One of my all-time favorites!

This was the first Bloom County strip I saw. Opus had me at “Hairy Fishnuts.”

And so it begins, the birth of the Bloom County most know and love, soon Cutter John, Portnoy and Hodge Podge and the Star chair Interpoop will plot courses to many untamed planets of various female persuasions…lol

BTW folks, for those of you who may be curious (like I am), the original publication date for this one was Feb. 14, 1982.

I can remember when they were all over the airports until they were finally kicked out.Good thing too.

I guess he proved himself wrong about inaccurately drawn penguin.
