    Teenagers have trouble processing such news, much more so than adults. It’s not their fault at all, they just don’t have the life experiences older adults have to fall back on and their views on life and death are still developing. She’ll be fine…..you will all be fine.

    you are entitled to your feelings no matter what they are. Most people mean well but when the sun sets your feelings are yours and do not need to be explained or defended to anyone.

    When I was diagnosed my first thought wasn’t “am I going to die?” it was “shit! I don’t want to lose my hair!” Fortunately I didn’t need chemo. I didn’t lose my hair and I didn’t die! Cuss all you want!! You’re having to join a club no one wants to be a member of. Be strong, be brave, be well!!
