She doesn’t need to have a man in her life if she doesn’t want to, so why is everyone trying to force it? I think she’s right about wanting to get her life back on track before she thinks about a relationship.
Oh boy…I don’t think she made the wrong decision with her ex…they had a great life and marriage and she was happy. He got depressed. Depression is no joke…
I only wish I had listened to my mother about my ex. But at the time I was young and in love and overlooked all the things that made us truly incompatible. The good thing about the fact that I didn’t listen was that I am blessed to have 2 wonderful adult (hah) children, and the memories of the third who was taken away too soon. My 2 granddaughters also bring a lot of joy to my life. And now my ex is remarried and I don’t have to think often of her, so I don’t :-)

I’m sort of new to this strip, but from what I’ve seen, they ALL always make the wrong decision. Does all the wrong somehow ever end up being right?
