It really is a waste of time. Every time you find x, the fools just lose it and you have to find it again. Seriously, why do we teach math above the basic what you need to figure the area of a room, add up a grocery list, etc? Let the people who are going to actually use that in their work do it. Why I needed to learn that there were bases other than 10 is beyond me, and I don’t remember any of it longer than it takes to pass the test and get to a more interesting class.

I hated algebra and felt it was a total waste of time. But I was always good with English and can easily see there is a typo in the first frame. It should be playing, no play.
